I love working with glass. Glass is incredibly strong, hard and at the same time vulnerable and fragile. In the oven – in the fire – it softens, melts and is malleable. Glass needs a specific approach, but then it can also be transformed into something very beautiful. I love the contradictions in glass and the transparency of the material. A material in which broken pieces can become something beautiful. But.. it has to go through the fire.
